About the Role The Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Service is a value-add service with two primary functions: To provide support to and advocacy on behalf of First Nations patients, as requested by patients themselves. To provide culturally specific secondary consultation to clinicians. The AHLO works with other SVHM staff to provide culturally appropriate care for First Nations patients and families, to improve access to care, experiences of care, and health outcomes. The AHLO provides this cultural support in-line with a work prioritisation tool, which sets out the scope of duties. Classifications for this position will range from XV10 - XU19 ($67,537.60 - $88,722.40 per annum pro rata).
