ABOUT THE ROLE

Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate the journey and support the clinical care for Aboriginal patients through the ED at RPA. The aim is to reduce the number of Aboriginal patients who do not complete their care in the ED, whilst also supporting the Aboriginal Health Workforce in the ED. We are ideally looking for applicants who would be comfortable in the fast paced environment of the ED.
