  • Psychologist - $77,358 - $113,226 per annum

Responsibilities

The Integrated Violence Prevention & Response Service (IVPRS) is responsible for strategic leadership, clinical service provision and capacity building for the portfolio areas of sexual assault, domestic violence and child protection. IVPRS acknowledges and respects the fundamental value and dignity of all individuals. We are committed to creating and maintaining an environment that supports and promotes cultural safety, diversity and inclusion.
The BSAS Aboriginal Sexual Assault counsellor is responsible for the provision of specialist therapeutic and case management services to child, adolescent and adult victims of sexual assault and their non-offending family members, including the provision of crisis counselling & support and facilitation of forensic/medical services as required.
The Aboriginal Sexual Assault counsellor works closely with IVPRS and the Aboriginal Health Hub to assist with establishing trust and building relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and violence, abuse and neglect services in WSLHD.
