Description The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an efficient and courteous manner. The Breakfast Server will take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables courteously and efficiently. They will collect payments and assist in keeping the area and equipment clean. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Approach all encounters with guests and employees with a smile. Have a thorough knowledge of menus and specials in restaurant. Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations. Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of service bar, bar tables, stations and service areas. Quickly and accurately take guest orders. Accommodate any special requests made by a guest or offer appropriate alternatives. Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Accurately prepare meal checks and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift, cards room credits and vouchers. Clear clean and reset tables as needed. Perform opening and closing procedures. Perform any other duties as requested by management. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field a PLUS. English fluency required Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service a PLUS Ability to input and access information in computers. Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays Full- and part-time positions available. Willing and able to stand/walk for entire shift if needed Possess basic reading, writing and math skills
Responsibilities
