Description
Line Cook Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu. Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items on time. Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature. Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly. Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform any other duties assigned by the team to whom you report. Qualifications and Experience Required Level Two (2) Certificate in Food Preparation or equivalent for an accredited training institution. Minimum one (1) year experience in a similar capacity or comparative position. Clean Police Record. Valid Food Handler’s Permit. Specific Skills and Competences Required Good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. Ability to foster harmonious relations. Professionalism and integrity at the highest level. Strong verbal and written communication, task management, and customer service skills.
