The Opportunity: When you join PwC managed services as a Data Engineer – Experienced Associate, you take on a key role in designing, building, and optimizing scalable Databricks-based data solutions that support enterprise data and analytics platforms. You will apply critical thinking to solve data engineering challenges, interpret data to generate valuable insights, develop business context awareness, and uphold PwC’s professional and technical standards. Responsibilities: • Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks (PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake). • Implement Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers). • Optimize Spark workloads and cluster performance. • Integrate Databricks with cloud storage and orchestration tools. • Implement data quality monitoring and reconciliation checks. • Support production operations including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
