Job Title: AC Technician

Reports To: Store Manager
Key Responsibilities
o  Install new air conditioning systems and components (central AC systems, split units, window units, etc.) based on customer specifications or project requirements.
o  Test systems for leaks, ensure adequate refrigerant levels, and ensure the system is running efficiently.
o  Perform regular maintenance on air conditioning systems, including cleaning filters, coils, ducts, and checking refrigerant levels.
o  Replace worn or damaged parts like motors, compressors, thermostats, and coils.
o  Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with AC systems, such as refrigerant leaks, airflow issues, faulty compressors, or electrical problems.
o  Provide emergency repair services as needed, especially during peak summer months or in urgent situations.
o  Ensure systems are performing optimally after repairs or installation.
o  Document all service calls, including findings, actions taken, and parts used, to maintain accurate service records.
o  Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with air conditioning units, electrical systems, and refrigerants.
o  Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow all safety guidelines related to refrigerant handling and electrical work.
o  Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Requirements

•   HND /OND or certification or certification in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems is preferred.
•   Prior experience as an AC Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
•   Proficiency in AC systems, troubleshooting, and repair.
•   Knowledge of refrigerants, electrical components, and air conditioning systems.
•   Ability to use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment for AC systems.
•   Excellent communication and customer service skills.
•   Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•   Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•   Ability to work under pressure, especially during peak seasons.
•   Physically fit, as the role may require lifting, bending, and working in tight spaces.
•   Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Working Conditions

•   Full-time position, with possible overtime during peak seasons (summer months).
•   The role may require traveling to customer locations or different work sites.
•   Working in varied environments, including residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
•   May involve working in hot or confined spaces, so physical stamina is necessary.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per mont
