Incorporated in 1992, the Canadian Business College (“CBC”) offers a broad range of professional training and diploma programs in Law, IT, Multimedia, Business Management, Child Care, and Health Care.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with excellent customer service and strong communication skills, positive attitude and strong work ethics. The Academic Administrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Greet and welcome students and other clients
  • Respond to general inquiries over the phone, in person and via Email
  • Respond to student inquiries
  • Coordinate with all departments to prepare and dispense the necessary documents for student and alumni including, but not limited to, copy of transcripts and Diplomas and Certificates
  • Administer schedule & proctor exams (Online & Paper exams) for students and external clients
  • Maintain and update program information
  • Help and maintain all documentation for Audits and inspections
  • Responsible for all matters relating to the Student Services department
  • Communicate with staff and faculty on all student related matters
  • Process student requests such as accommodations, advanced standing, scheduling, books

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal),
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision in fast paced environment.
  • Previous experience working in a school and/or an office environment is an asset

Location: North York Campus
Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (with flexibility when required)
