DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTY: The Academic Advisor provides guidance and support for the undergraduate students in the College of Fine Arts (COFA) at Tennessee Tech University. As a member of the COFA Student Success Center (SSC) team, this position provides comprehensive academic advising and supports holistic student success by consistently monitoring and communicating with their assigned advisees regarding academics, student life, and career development resources and programs, tutoring, and connecting with their major of interest or academic program/college. Support the College of Fine Arts in university wide recruiting events both on campus and off campus. Tennessee Tech is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive academic advising and holistic support for undergraduate students in the College of Fine Arts. Monitor student progress and assist with university-wide recruiting events both on and off campus.
