Join Innovative Scholars as an Academic Coach, working within Chicago Public Schools’ Title I academic programs to support K-12 students in developing essential executive functioning skills through initiatives, dedication, and efficient implementation. As part of our targeted executive functioning program, you’ll help students build a toolbox of strategies that foster independence in the classroom, at home, and eventually, in their careers.
You’ll deliver one-on-one academic coaching sessions, teaching students crucial skills like task prioritization, homework management, and goal setting. In this role, you’ll create a safe and positive learning environment, collaborate with school administrators, intervention specialists, teachers, and parents, and use data-driven approaches to improve student outcomes.
