Academic Coach Location: Berkeley Preparatory Academy Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt Reports To: Principal Position Overview: The Academic Coach supports teachers in implementing best practices in the classroom and improving student outcomes. This role involves providing professional development, modeling teaching strategies, and assisting in curriculum alignment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide coaching and support to teachers to improve instructional practices. * Model effective teaching strategies and techniques for teachers. * Assist in the implementation of school-wide initiatives to improve academic achievement. * Analyze student data to inform instructional decisions. * Lead professional development sessions for teachers and staff. * Collaborate with teachers to develop strategies for addressing students' learning needs. * Any other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Master’s degree in Education or related field. * Valid South Carolina teaching certification. * Experience in teaching and instructional leadership. * Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
