POSITION SUMMARY

The incumbent will direct patient care and supervise instruction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • MD/DO or equivalent
  • Board certified/eligible for certifying examination of the American Board of Internal Medicine or comparable certifying authority
  • Eligible for licensure in Illinois
  • Eligible for medical staff appointment at university-affiliated hospital
  • 3 years’ experience in geriatrics
  • Experience in inpatient and outpatient internal medicine/geriatrics
  • Experience in working collaboratively as a part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Interest in providing high-quality education
  • Collaborate with resident physicians and medical students on research projects.

The budgeted salary range for the position is $240,000 to $300,000.
