Description

The Division of Hospital Medicine with Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Internal Medicine to join their team. Mayo Clinic Florida is a 320-bed academic hospital and destination medical center for oncology, transplant, and stroke care for Northeast Florida, with a strong focus on complex medical care. Candidates can look forward to joining a dynamic and diverse group of Hospitalists with interests and skills that help support the practice clinically, academically, administratively, and in research. It is preferred candidates have at least one additional year of training in advance of application (internal medicine chief resident or hospital medicine fellowship trained family medicine) or 1 year of inpatient practice experience. Variable day schedule (7 on- 7 off, 5 on- 5 off). Responsibilities

The Academic Hospitalist will join a diverse group of Hospitalists to provide clinical care, engage in academic activities, and participate in research. Responsibilities include managing patient care with a focus on teamwork and excellence.
