You will conduct influential research in your field, secure research funding, and publish in leading academic journals, while designing and delivering engaging undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, developing curricula, and supervising graduate research students. Applications are welcomed from candidates specialising in Strategy and International Business, Entrepreneurship, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, or Organisation Studies, though exceptional scholars in related management areas will also be considered. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting high-quality and impactful research within designated areas of focus, securing external funding, publishing in leading academic journals, and supervising Masters and PhD students. Designing and delivering engaging undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, developing innovative curricula and learning materials, and ensuring the academic success and wellbeing of students. Contributing to the collegial, intellectual, and professional life of the department and University through active participation in committees, events, and professional or community engagement activities. You may be a great fit if you: Level B (Lecturer) Are completing, or near completion of a PhD in Management. Have emerging high-quality research, evidenced by submissions to leading journals or working papers. Can teach undergraduate and master’s subjects in priority areas. Participate in academic conferences and workshops. Are committed to excellent teaching and fostering a collegial environment. Level C (Senior Lecturer) Hold a completed PhD in Management. Demonstrate strong research with a growing portfolio of publications in reputable journals. Have experience teaching a broad range of undergraduate and master’s subjects. Engage actively in academic conferences and workshops. Promote excellence in teaching and student achievement through collegial collaboration. Level D (Associate Professor) Hold a completed PhD in Management. Have an internationally recognised research record with publications in top-ranked journals and conference presentations. Contribute significantly to research, teaching, and departmental objectives. Mentor and supervise graduate students. Secure research funding from competitive grants or other sources. Provide leadership in teaching, curriculum development, and academic engagement. Collaborate effectively and contribute to the strategic goals of the department. Your new team – The Department of Management and Marketing The faculty members in the management discipline publish regularly in FT50 and other top management journals (e.g., Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Studies, Strategic Management Journal) and serve on the editorial boards of many of these journals. The Department has strong undergraduate and postgraduate programs and an established five-year PhD program. The Department has an active research seminar series and is regularly visited by many domestic and international scholars. The Faculty of Business and Economics provides strong research support in the forms of research grants, visiting scholar schemes, and a generous annual budget for research-related travels. The department is nominally organised in five clusters: Human Resource Management, Strategy/International Business, Marketing, Operations and supply chain Management, and Organisation Studies. It also covers Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Business Sustainability as cross-disciplinary areas. The department’s research objective is to produce high quality and impactful research, as evidenced through publications in top-tier international journals.
