The Academic Programs & Instruction Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of all academic programs at the college. This role ensures the continuous improvement and high-quality delivery of instruction across departments, aligning programs with institutional goals, regulatory frameworks, and best practices in post-secondary education. The position plays a pivotal leadership role, guiding academic operations, faculty development, and program integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all academic programs across the college.
  • Lead continuous program evaluation and improvement processes, including alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor Department Heads, Program Managers, and academic support roles (Programs & Instruction Coordinator, Teaching & Learning Specialist, Program Analyst).
  • Collaborate with faculty leadership to implement instructional best practices and effective learning environments.
  • Guide strategic academic planning, course scheduling, and program development in response to learner, community, and labor market needs.
  • Advise on instructional quality, curriculum alignment, and academic performance metrics.
  • Partner with other college departments to ensure integrated, learner-centered approaches.

Education & Experience Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of progressive experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, or program management in a post-secondary environment.
