POSITION SUMMARY

The Social Studies Olympiad Advisor is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising the school’s participation in the Social Studies Olympiad program. This role includes guiding students through preparation for competitions, fostering academic excellence in history, civics, geography, and related disciplines, and promoting teamwork and intellectual curiosity. The Advisor ensures that all activities comply with district policies and competition guidelines while creating a positive and supportive environment for participants.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents, correspondence, and instructions accurately.

  • Ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations, including percentages, ratios, and data interpretation for scoring and event analysis.
