POSITION SUMMARY

The Student Government Advisor is responsible for overseeing the operations, leadership development, and activities of the school’s student government. This role promotes student voice, civic engagement, and school spirit through the planning and execution of events, meetings, and service projects. The Advisor works closely with student leaders, staff, and the community to ensure the program’s success and alignment with district goals and policies.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents, correspondence, and instructions accurately.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging students, parents, staff, and community members.

MATHEMATICS SKILLS

  • Ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as percentages and ratios.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community members.
  • Understanding of district policies, Board of Education requirements, and student activity guidelines.
