The Registry is a key central administrative unit of the University supporting it in providing quality higher education. We administer and deliver a broad range of student and academic services, such as admissions, registration, quality assurance, class scheduling, examinations, and graduation. The Registry is also responsible for maintaining student records and providing secretarial support to Senate and its committees, and are integral in the governing of academic regulations of the University. We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Registry: Major Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Registrar or his/her nominee, the appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Undergraduate Enrollment Team of the Registry in administering course enrollment, student registration, government subsidy and related reporting, and tuition fees matters; Executing initiatives to streamline and improve work processes and operations through system enhancements and innovative solutions; Leading and providing professional student services in support of undergraduate studies, with a focus on improving service efficiency; Collaborating with academic units and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between enrolment processes and programme requirements; Managing communication strategies and channels to effectively disseminate enrolment-related information to students and other stakeholders; Contributing to the review and implementation of policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance; Monitoring and analyzing enrollment trends and data to provide insights and recommendations for strategic planning and decision-making; Supervising team members and promotes collaboration and continuous improvement within team; Performing other duties as assigned to support the overall mission and goals of the Registry. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized degree with at least 6 years’ relevant post-qualification administrative and supervisory experience; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong analytical skills, with a track record of making sound decisions and driving process improvements; High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data handling; Proficiency in computer applications, possess strong system sense for operation streamlining; Ability to multitask and work under pressure; and Proven experience in project management will be advantageous.
