The Registry is a key central administrative unit of the University supporting it in providing quality higher education. We administer and deliver a broad range of student and academic services, such as admissions, registration, quality assurance, class scheduling, examinations, and graduation. The Registry is also responsible for maintaining student records and providing secretarial support to Senate and its committees, and are integral in the governing of academic regulations of the University. We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Registry: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Performing counter management and providing professional frontline student services including counter service, emails and/or hotline service, and resolving student enquiries; Performing efficient and accurate clerical and administrative duties such as applications handling and processing; Assisting supervisor(s) in developing and preparing publications, announcements and website; Preparing reports and related admissions & enrolments documents; Providing support to supervisor(s) in coordination and liaison with internal departments; Performing efficient office management duties such as record keeping and filing; and Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized degree, preferably with at least 2 year’s post-qualification experience; Good communication and writing skills in English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua); Good computer skills including WORD, EXCEL and Chinese word processing; Excellent organizational skills and student service skills; Capable of multi-tasking and attentive to details; Capable to work under pressure; A good team player with strong sense of responsibility and motivation; and Work outside office hours may be required.
