Overview: Full-time, Continuing position Salary HEW Level 5 (80,943 - 93,891) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working About You The Academic Services Officer shares responsibility for providing first-class student experience to students and for supporting effective academic services delivery across all programs, modes, and locations. The incumbent will work across the full range of academic administration activities associated with the student life cycle including admission, credit assessment, enrolments, and assessment, providing timely and accurate information, and furnishing advice and service to staff and students in the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies. To be successful in this position, you’ll have: Demonstrated experience in the provision of quality academic administrative services. Demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills, including proven ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines in a large and complex tertiary environment. Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a team delivering academic programs, and experience interacting effectively with academics and students. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with people from a range of cultural backgrounds. Demonstrated high level of computer literacy, including knowledge and experience with university systems. A high level of initiative and independence with the ability to work with limited direction.
