About the Role: As a Sessional Academic you will have the opportunity to teach within our VU First Year College®, who offer a unique learning experience designed specifically for first year students. VU's First Year College® is looking to increase their pool of qualified people to teach into our Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Health Science degrees. You will engage in our renowned VU Block Model®, where one unit is taught at a time. This allows you to teach in small groups and provides you with an opportunity to engage with and get to know your students. Each appointment will be for a block of 4 weeks of teaching (typically 3 hours a day, 3 days a week, over 4 weeks) and provides you with an opportunity to teach at any particular time.  The Academic Sessional hourly rates and conditions of employment will apply as per the Victoria University Enterprise Agreement 2025.
