    At GT.School, you’ll mentor gifted K–12 students, guiding them through advanced curricula, honing life skills, and opening doors to elite academic opportunities. This is a mentorship role, not a teaching position, where your academic prowess and storytelling ability will influence students’ self-perception, aspirations, and potential.
    Your role involves engaging 1:1 motivation sessions and structured workshops on vital life skills. With AI support and away from classroom distractions, your focus will be on what truly matters: helping students learn swiftly, think critically, and enjoy their educational journey.
    Unlike typical educational roles, you won’t be burdened with grading or lesson planning. Situated in Austin, TX, you’ll be part of a pioneering school model that prioritizes academic excellence, rapid development, and strong student connections.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution (Ivy League or equivalent); Master’s or PhD is a plus.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence (e.g., Olympiad medalist, National Merit Finalist, early college graduate).
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, teaching, or tutoring students.Possession of at least one elite academic credential (e.g., scholarship/fellowship with
  • 5% acceptance rate, Mensa/Triple Nine Society, PhD, university-level teaching).
  • Expertise in utilizing generative AI tools to enhance learning and instruction.
  • Outstanding communication and public speaking abilities.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Commitment to working on-site in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Facilitating life skills workshops for K–12 students, utilizing storytelling to impart mastery-based skills such as public speaking and entrepreneurship.
  • Providing 1:1 or small-group motivational coaching to help students reach their unique academic objectives.
  • Customizing your coaching methods using student profiles and analytics to address individual challenges.
  • Monitoring student outcomes, from satisfaction metrics to app progress, and refining your approach to uphold high standards.

WHAT YOU WILL NOT BE DOING

  • Endlessly grading papers or completing academic paperwork.
  • Managing classroom behavior or handling disruptive students.
  • Delivering monotonous lectures to uninterested audiences.
