QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but will consider Associate’s Degree and relevant experience.
  REPORTS TO: Building Principal
  JOB GOAL: To provide academic support to students within the classroom setting in a high school, grades 8 through 12. This is a full-time, school year position.

• Works within a classroom setting with individual students or small groups of students to provide interventions and supports in English, math, science, social studies and other subject areas.
• Collaborates with classroom teachers to plan and implement data informed supports and interventions.
• Oversees the classroom in the absence of the teacher.
• Performs other needed duties and responsibilities as assigned by teachers and/or the school administration.
