ACE Tutoring Support is expanding and looking to add high-quality academic tutors to our growing team across Durham Region for the upcoming school year.

We provide affordable, customized, and effective tutoring for K–12 students, with a strong focus on building both academic skills and confidence.

This is a part-time role with opportunities to build a consistent weekly schedule based on your availability and student demand.

• Confident working one-on-one with students
• Strong communicators who can build rapport with children and families
• Comfortable teaching assigned subjects independently

We are selective in who we bring onto our team to ensure a high-quality experience for our students and families.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions (in-person and/or virtual)
• Identify and support gaps in student learning
• Build student confidence and engagement
• Communicate professionally with parents when needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, or leadership role)
• Strong understanding of at least one academic subject area
• Ability to travel within Durham Region (in-person sessions preferred)
• Criminal Background Check & Vulnerable Sector Screening (required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
