QUALIFICATIONS: A four-year degree from an accredited institution with NC certification in assigned area of teaching (Teaching License cannot be Initial, Residency, or Limited).
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOAL: To demonstrate leadership, to establish a respectful environment for a diverse population of students, to know the content they teach, to facilitate learning for their students, and to reflect on their practice.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with parents, staff, and community leaders.
Must have finger dexterity and be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion.

Must upload a legible copy of official transcripts for all degree levels, and copy of current teaching license.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies required.
