Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Provide overall management and technical support for the particle accelerator facilities, including the Pelletron (0.5 – 5.0 MeV) and the Colutron (1 – 30 keV) accelerators, and associated beamlines.
  • Team Coordination: Manage and liaise with professional staff to ensure equipment and infrastructure maintenance, laboratory safety compliance, and efficient operations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with academic staff, postdoctoral fellows, and students, providing technical guidance and assisting in their utilization of the accelerators and developmental projects.
  • Project Leadership: Take a leading role in designing, constructing, and implementing new beamline capabilities and equipment, overseeing successful project completion.
  • Operational Support: Coordinate the timely purchase of consumables and equipment components, ensuring reliable and safe operation of the accelerators and beamlines.
