Description

The College is keen to maintain its current high academic standards while at the same time increasing the number of applications from students with the highest academic potential from every social background. The post-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and delivery of the College’s existing outreach programme.
The Access and Outreach Coordinator is a key role to ensure the smooth running of the College’s outreach and access programmes. This role is responsible for the day-to-day organisation and delivery of the College’s existing outreach programme, including the hosting of inbound school visits to the College, as well as travelling out to schools in the College’s regional link areas. The post-holder will also take responsibility of several larger scale outreach events which take place at the Hall, such as Open Days, a residential workshop and the Outreach Roadshow.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience of higher education and/or of working with young people and have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You will also need a flexible and adaptable attitude to work as some evening and weekend working will be required as well as regular travel away from Oxford but within the UK.
