Valiant is looking for a Part Time Casual Access Control/Guard. This position reports directly to the Site Manager or their designated representative. An access guard duties include but not limited to: * Access control to the building through verification of information on authorized Access Rosters. * Issuance of authorized Visitor badges to the building. * Maintaining access logbooks for all access to building. * Maintain government provided Security access lists/databases. * Answering the telephone and responding to requests for information about the trainers and scheduled events. * Compile Simulator Schedule Data and create Operator Schedules for daily simulator activity. * Data entry for Training Device Utilization Records. * Data entry into Badge Access Control System. * Responsible to report any irregularities or problems to the Site Manager for resolution. * Will be responsible for the cleanliness of the guard station. * Work any shift and weekends as specified by Contract for this site. * Consideration for higher-level roles (III and II) will be based on the candidate’s demonstrated experience, relevant skill set, and ability to perform duties aligned with increased responsibilities. * Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent certification. * Must be computer literate and be able to use and access basic computer programs (Microsoft products, Excel, PDF etc.). * Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English. * Must be able to work well with all levels of Military and Civilian personnel. * Must present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor at all times. * Ability to secure a US Passport PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flight of stairs is required. * Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.

Responsibilities

The Access Control/Guard I is responsible for verifying access to the building, issuing visitor badges, maintaining access logs, and reporting any irregularities. Additional duties include data entry for training records and ensuring the cleanliness of the guard station.
