Aiming to provide professional and superior quality service to our patients and key stakeholders, the Access and Policy Head’s scope will cover Market Access, Public Affairs & Policy and will report to the Country Manager. Through the role, you will identify, develop and uphold relationships with key audiences such policymakers, patient groups and clinical professionals. It will be vital that you’re able to use your strategic mindset effectively in order to improve patient access to medicines and innovative solutions, in order to achieve this it will be essential that you develop the skills of your own team and that you establish and maintain connections with a wide network of external partners and advisers. In order to effectively manage public affairs challenges and issues, the position is required not only to build relationships, but also to continually build upon the understanding of social, legal, ethical and commercial developments within the health sector. Implementing the necessary partnerships, processes and monitoring the success of activities, it is critical that the impact made by team initiatives is thoroughly analyzed and that it provides a platform for relevant strategic insights to be analyzed and translated to the senior management team. Your role: You will setup and lead the Market Access strategy You will manage & ensure optimal Access to Roche portfolio You will develop collaborative and strategic relationships with patient associations, health organizations, government agencies and key opinion leaders You will products listing/re-listing, to lead cross-functional coordination to ensure listing/relisting & tendering You will manage pricing, to maximize value of all key products through price negotiation strategy You will Influence Government Policy to create an optimal Healthcare delivery environment You will safeguard Roche reputation and encourage patient trust You will build and strengthen the company's patient advocacy relations and Public Affairs function You will be responsible for product/disease and public relations, proactive and reactive issues management and external communications strategies that align and support key strategic business focus Who you are: You have a University and Master's degree in a related field. You have minimum 6 years working experience with the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3 years in a relevant position is a plus. You have a proven ability in stakeholder engagement, media relations, corporate issues management, and crisis management within the pharmaceutical sector. You have a Leadership and business Analysis skills You have a proven skills in Influencing & negotiation You have an excellent verbal, written Communication and interpersonal skills You are fluent in French and English Who we are A healthier future drives us to innovate.
