The main purpose is to enable the relocation of the council’s paper records from sites around the county to a facility in Abingdon.
Key tasks include sorting, arranging and preparing paper files and boxes for disposal, long-term storage, or for electronic scanning. Updating and managing electronic systems for managing paper records.
This is an active physical role with prolonged periods of standing, loading and unloading boxes weighing up to 5kg and occasionally up to 10kg. You will be frequently working at heights using ladders and training will be provided to use a mobile lifting platform (platform height 12 feet).
