Position Summary Provide services for students and/or employees with disabilities University wide who require accommodations; inform students, faculty, and staff of available services. Advise people with disabilities of their rights and responsibilities; interpret federal policies and procedures. Plan and implement provisions for reasonable accommodations. Develop and present trainings for University constituents. Qualifications Required Education:Master's Degree in appropriate discipline (Counseling, Psychology, Teaching and Learning, Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, or related area) or Bachelor's degree plus 2-3 years directly related experience. Required Experience:2+ years related post-degree experience with appropriate adult population with disability(ies) including experience evaluating medical documentation, arranging accommodations, and/or the use of any adaptive technologies (if applicable), or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of testing documentation in appropriate subject discipline. Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding ADA and compliance in higher education. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $72,000.00. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
