Doctors Direct have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Registrar to work with us at Northern Care Alliance in the Urgent Care Centre, also known as A&E.
We are looking for a doctor dedicated to, and passionate about, improving health and wellbeing within the Greater Manchester Community.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
Clinical Care: Provide high-quality clinical care to patients presenting with urgent medical conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referral as appropriate.
Emergency Triage: Conduct rapid triage of patients to prioritize care based on the severity of their condition and ensure timely intervention for those requiring urgent attention.
Medical Assessment: Perform comprehensive medical assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic investigations, to determine the appropriate course of action for each patient.
Emergency Procedures: Be proficient in performing emergency procedures such as resuscitation, airway management, wound management, and fracture stabilization to stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals within the UCC, including nurses, physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
