Position Details Investment Analysis and Evaluation: - Research and analyze potential investment opportunities - Conduct due diligence, including financial modeling, market analysis, and risk assessment - Prepare and present materials for the investment committee Deal Execution: - Lead negotiations and structuring of investment deals - Ensure smooth coordination with legal, financial, administrative, and business divisions - Manage the documentation and closing process Portfolio Management: - Monitor and support the achievement of strategic and financial goals of portfolio companies - Facilitate business development and strategic initiatives - Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders on performance metrics Market and Industry Research: - Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape - Identify new opportunities and threats in the investment environment - Build and maintain a network of industry contacts and experts Relationship Management: - Build and maintain close relationships with entrepreneurs, co-investors, and other stakeholders - Enhance Rakuten Capital's presence at industry events and conferences - Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the investment team Strengthening Collaboration with Business Divisions and Facilitation: - Explore synergy opportunities through close collaboration with business divisions within the Rakuten Group - Enhance information sharing and collaboration through regular meetings and workshops with business divisions - Promote cooperation between portfolio companies and Rakuten Group's business divisions Work Environment Rakuten Capital is an agile and global organization.
