We are seeking a motivated and reliable team member to join our hardworking team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas, ensuring all standards are met to provide an exceptional guest experience.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a similar accommodation or housekeeping role, ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness and service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Physical stamina for the handling of the manual aspects of the role, including lifting linen bags, pushing / pulling trolleys, moving furniture, dusting, hoovering, mopping, bending, stretching and scrubbing to maintain cleanliness across the property.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Strong organisational skills to manage daily tasks and responsibilities, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
• Adherence to health and safety standards, particularly within the hospitality industry.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to take on additional duties as needed.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends, and holidays.
• Customer-focused attitude, with a commitment to ensuring guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
• Attention to detail to ensure that all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms and public spaces, are maintained to the highest standards.
• Strong team player, with a positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to collaborate with various departments.

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, ensuring they meet cleanliness standards.
• Replace linens, towels, and restock amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, and sanitise rooms and bathrooms.
• Empty bins and remove trash.
• Report any maintenance or damage issues.
• Maintain cleanliness in corridors and public areas as required.
• Assist with linen deliveries and exchanges.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Respond to guest requests promptly.
