As an Accommodation Consultant, you will be tasked with sourcing accommodation solutions for our students. This entails finding student residences, securing partnerships with hotels and finding host families in designated areas in the Atlantic Seaboard area and other areas in close proximity. You will also be responsible for arranging recruitment drives in order to source new host families and subsequent visits to host families to assess their suitability. You will engage with potential suppliers personally, via email, and over the phone and be an ambassador promoting EF. You will also assist with tasks in the accommodation department assisting with student bookings, accommodation allocations and student queries. Note that this is a 6-month, fixed-term contract with the potential for renewal. Your key responsibilities will include: Drive Recruitment: implement effective and creative recruitment initiatives to secure new host families Source Facilities: use your industry relationships in the real estate market to source and secure new student residences Negotiate Partnerships: use your experience to negotiate beneficial accommodation partnerships for students Excellent Communication: Provide regular status updates on various tasks and initiatives Team Spirit: Motivate yourself and your team to reach individual and team goals with a positive, competitive attitude Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with accommodation suppliers (residences, host families and hotels) Teamwork: Build strong relationships with our global and diverse sales teams and campus staff to provide students with the best EF experience What We’re Looking For: 4 + years’ experience in the property and real estate market in Cape Town, specifically the Atlantic Seaboard area and surrounding areas Minimum - Bachelor's degree (Honours level or higher preferred) Fluency in English. Additional languages like French, Spanish, German Ambitious and driven. You enjoy a challenge! Customer-service background and focus. Experience in the hospitality industry advantageous.
