The Fairview Boutique Hotel, centrally located in the heart of Killarney, is currently recruiting an Accommodation/Housekeeping Manager to join our dedicated team. This full-time position offers daytime hours, ideal for someone seeking a well-balanced work schedule in a professional hospitality setting.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual with experience in the hospitality sector, who takes pride in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and quality standards in a 4-star hotel environment.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
· Proven experience in a housekeeping or accommodation management role, preferably in a 4-star hotel or similar environment
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail and a passion for high standards
· Ability to motivate, train and manage a team effectively
· Fluent English (spoken and written)
· Organisational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
· Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department
· Ensure all rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas meet 4-star cleanliness standards
· Manage and train accommodation staff, developing a positive and efficient team
· Maintain inventory of linen, amenities, cleaning supplies, and equipment
· Liaise with maintenance to address and follow up on reported issues
· Monitor and report on quality control and staff performance
· Carry out other duties as assigned by management
