Description
Accompanist/Music Class Assistant (part-time): Well-qualified candidates will have good sight-reading skills and the ability to play most standard choral repertoire. Training in the Kodály methodology (or willingness to complete training) is desirable. Candidates should also be self-motivated, organized, and willing to assist with classroom organization and management. Candidates should have a desire to work in a faith-based atmosphere aligned with the values taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, be professional in appearance and demeanor, and willing and able to uphold the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off-campus. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
The Accompanist/Music Class Assistant will assist with classroom organization and management while playing for music classes. They will also support the music program aligned with the values of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
