In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our accounting operations by managing day-to-day financial tasks with precision and professionalism. Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency Perform bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies in a timely manner Prepare and verify invoices, expense reports, and supporting documentation Maintain organized filing systems for financial records and ensure compliance with GST and tax regulations Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures under the guidance of senior accounting staff Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain data integrity across all systems Support the preparation of financial reports and statements as requested Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies Monitor and track account balances to ensure accuracy and completeness Assist with special accounting projects and ad-hoc tasks to support team goals Stay current with accounting best practices and contribute innovative ideas to improve processes Qualifications **Required Skills & Competencies:** Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar platforms) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent data entry skills with a commitment to accuracy Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices Strong organizational and time management abilities Clear written and verbal communication skills Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment **Required Experience:** 1-3 years of experience in an accounting support, bookkeeping, or finance assistant role Demonstrated experience with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable functions Experience performing bank reconciliations and account analysis Familiarity with invoice processing and expense management **Required Education:** High school diploma or equivalent qualification **Preferred Qualifications:** Associate degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field Knowledge of GST compliance and Indian tax regulations Experience with financial reporting and month-end closing procedures Certification in accounting or bookkeeping (such as Certified Bookkeeper or similar) Experience with ERP systems or enterprise accounting platforms Familiarity with audit procedures and documentation requirements Job-Category: Finance Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
