Responsibilities

Account:

  • Daily accounts receivable/payable and reconciliation
  • Verification of creditors invoices and issuing payment vouchers
  • Basic administrative duties including filing, scanning or copying
  • Any ad-hoc activities as assigned

Billing:

  • Generate and issue invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner based on sales orders and service agreements.
  • Verify the accuracy of billing data, including product descriptions, quantities, prices, and discounts, before invoicing.
  • Process billing transactions, including posting payments, issuing credits, and updating customer account information in the billing system.
  • Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure payments are applied correctly and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments with customers through phone calls or emails.
  • Assist in the preparation of billing statements, reports, and financial summaries for management review.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries, billing issues, and payment concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of billing activities, payments received, and customer communications in the billing system.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes, including reconciling accounts, preparing accruals, and generating financial reports.
  • Support the Billing Supervisor/Manager in ad-hoc financial projects, process improvements, and system enhancements related to billing operations.
  • Adhere to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements in all billing and invoicing activities.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, trends, and regulations related to billing and invoicing processes.

Requirements:
