Account Co-ordinator - Gi Group Location: Hatton (On site) Contract: Full-time, permanent Hours: 06:00 - 14:30 Mon - Fri Salary: Up to £27,397 plus bonus About the role: We are seeking an organised and proactive Account Co‑ordinator to support the Account Manager and on-site teams in delivering an outstanding service to our clients. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day account administration, oversee temporary workforce processes, maintain accurate records, and act as a key point of contact for both workers and clients, ensuring compliant and efficient operations. Key responsibilities: Manage temporary workforce processes including onboarding, inductions, starters and leavers, absence recording and return-to-work actions. Prepare and submit accurate payroll data within deadlines; liaise with payroll and HR teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies. Allocate labour to meet client demand and skill requirements; monitor attendance and performance against KPIs and report daily metrics to the Account Manager. Respond to worker and client queries on pay, holiday, attendance and contractual matters; escalate complex issues appropriately. Complete and retain right-to-work and other compliance checks prior to roster assignment and payroll processing. Place adverts, screen applications, schedule interviews and inductions, and register new temporary staff in the ATS. Provide occasional out-of-hours cover for urgent site needs such as no-shows and contingency coordination. Contribute to continuous improvement of account processes, record-keeping and the candidate experience. Essential skills & experience: Strong administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Customer-focused, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Confident using Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems (including ATS, payroll and HR platforms). Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in recruitment, temporary workforce management or on-site account coordination/support is highly desirable.
