WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Experience in freight brokerage, specifically truckload and LTL.
Proven success in building and growing customer accounts
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Business acumen and customer service experience
Strong salesmanship and presentation abilities
Ability to work the hours of 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with some afterhours

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Sunset Transportation is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Account Coordinator to join our team on 2nd shift. This role will be critical in maintaining and expanding our most strategic accounts across multiple business segments and will involve cross-discipline job duties.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Manage shipment creation, load acceptance, appointment scheduling
Vet and Build carrier relationships, promote use of Sunset technology
Maintain tracking updates, accurate profiles, and customer performance
Secure competitive rates for freight at high service levels
Resolve issues with delays, service failures
Collaborate internally on pricing, sourcing and special projects
Serves as CSR backup and escalation point communicate for assistance
