Account Coordinator Perfect Afternoon (PA) is a 25+ year digital marketing & web development agency serving clients nationwide. We are seeking an Account Coordinator (Client Services) to manage post-sale client relationships and ensure projects move forward smoothly, on time, and within scope. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, client-focused, and comfortable coordinating between clients and internal teams. The Account Coordinator is not responsible for hands-on marketing execution but plays a critical role in client satisfaction, communication, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts after the initial sale Manage day-to-day client communication via email, meetings, and status updates Prepare meeting agendas, document notes, and provide clear follow-ups and action items Set and manage expectations related to timelines, scope, and deliverables Work Intake & Coordination Collect, document, and clarify client requests and requirements Validate requests against the contracted scope before work is scheduled Coordinate with Project Management and internal teams to ensure accurate execution Maintain accurate records in CRM and project management systems Scope & Account Health Identify and flag out-of-scope requests for review or approval Reviews tasks and deadlines for QA with internal staff Support billing accuracy by ensuring work aligns with the approved scope Monitor account health and escalate risks or concerns early Reporting & Retention Support Coordinate monthly reporting and account status updates Assist with renewals, ongoing engagements, and growth opportunities Maintain strong, long-term client relationships built on trust and communication Qualifications 1+ years of experience in client services, account coordination, or a related role Experience in a digital marketing agency or professional services environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with excellent follow-through Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities Familiarity with CRM and project management tools (HubSpot, ClickUp, Asana, etc.) a plus Ability to manage scope, timelines, and client expectations professionally What Success in this Role Looks Like Success in this role means creating clarity and confidence at every stage of the client relationship.
