About The Role – Geotechnical Coordinator (Vancouver / Mount Pleasant, BC) We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a GeoTechnical Coordinator within our Digital Solutions team focused on a growing number of InSAR satellite projects, managing technical client relationships, and providing support to any client facing aspect of the satellite data services we provide. Candidate will be expected to quickly learn, present, and train our clients on the usage of InSAR products. Prior knowledge in remote sensing, mining, and/or geotechnical monitoring is preferred. What you will be doing • Manage and own a set of commercial projects in terms of budget deliverables accounts receivable technical education expectations and project plan maintenance• Develop and nurture client relationships ideally through contract renewals and/or upgrades• Support business development managers as needed• Streamline projects and seek to make efficiencies wherever prudent• Understand principles and be able to answer most client questions related to the technology and its products serving as the first point of contact for managed clientsWhat you will bring The successful candidate will join a focused technical team and will have most of the following skills: Adaptable and fluid situations working individually with a team Natural attention to detail Outward going positive and skilled in client management Takes the initiative to solve problems independently Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills Ability to embrace, understand, and communicate high-technology products Excellent organizational skills and an ability to keep track of several interlinked issues simultaneously Aptitude to quickly learn, present and train our clients on the usage of INSAR products Prior knowledge in remote sensing and/or geotechnical monitoring is essential Role dimensions • This position will work closely with technical staff and report to the principal account manager Your qualifications Language: Fluent in English Portuguese and/or Spanish is a plus Education: Geotechnical or mining background Relevant degree from a post-secondary institution and at least two years of relevant experience in a similar role. Knowledge of remote sensing data is an excellent asset, but not essential. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset. Compensation • Salary Range $64,000 to $84,000 CAD• Eligible for annual short term incentive plan (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
