THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Manager, Account Development to join our dynamic, passionate team of professional fundraisers. If you have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and enjoy taking the initiative, this position is a great fit for you. Reporting to the Director, Development, you will play a key role, as you help coordinate and implement annual fundraising and donor development activities that support revenue goals and the long-term growth of TFSS.
Responsibilities include:
· Effectively manage a portfolio of mid-level and major gift donors.
· Cultivate new donors and develop fundraising opportunities.
· Deliver engaging and informative presentations to prospects, and current funders.
· Create compelling proposals for potential donors and ongoing reports as needed.
· Maintain current knowledge of evolving fundraising trends and strategies.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to prepare and make effective and impactful presentations and proposals.
· Keen attention to detail, and excellent editing and proofreading skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities while also demonstrating strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Demonstrated experience in applicable computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and donor databases.
· Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge NXT is a strong asset.

EDUCATION AND WORK REQUIREMENTS

· University degree or College diploma in English/Communications or a relevant field.
· Minimum of five years direct experience working in a fundraising/development environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
· Valid driver’s license and access to vehicle.
