The Account Director serves as a key operational leader, overseeing the development, planning, and execution of high‑impact corporate events that elevate brand presence, deepen customer relationships, and advance client business objectives. This role sits at the center of client partnership and is responsible for building trusted relationships, proactively identifying opportunities, and guiding the team to execute flawlessly. Internally, the Account Director ensures seamless collaboration across creative, production, and delivery teams, as well as with external partners, to deliver integrated, best‑in‑class experiential programs. The ideal candidate is both a thought leader and a hands‑on operator with a proven track record of leading complex event programs—often with thousands of attendees. They champion innovation and deliver exceptional attendee experiences while navigating fast‑paced, dynamic environments with confidence and composure. REQUIRED SKILLS Client Consulting. Lead and manage the corporate events and conferences strategy. Contribute to and drive the vision for executing large‑scale conferences, summits, tradeshows, internal meetings, and executive programs, ensuring every experience is designed to deliver measurable impact. Working closely with senior leadership to define event objectives, target personas, success metrics, and ROI frameworks that guide strategic decision‑making. Relationship Management. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal cross-functional teams to drive business success. Navigate and address client or stakeholder concerns with integrity and a focus on mutually acceptable solutions. Foster a culture of transparency, trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Become a trusted advisor and an extension of the client’s team through true partnership and integration. Client Business Expertise. Develop a deep understanding of the client’s market, products, industry trends, and competitors through comprehensive research and analysis. Anticipate client needs, articulate the “why” behind decisions, and offer informed and impactful recommendations to drive business results. Event Planning & Execution. Identify and implement strategies to drive efficiencies and create breakthrough work. Partner with creative & production team leads on ideation, sell in, and execution. Manage multiple priorities, clients, and projects simultaneously, drawing on extensive experience in corporate events, experiential marketing, conferences, or large‑scale event production. Establish best practices and scalable processes to optimize event operations across the organization. The annual range for this role varies between $90,000 and $110,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience.
