As an Account Director (Facility Management/Janitorial), reporting to the District Manager, you will provide full oversight of custodial services and leadership of our team of staff. In this role, you will be client facing and responsible for the successful execution of the scope of project as well as delivering on key deliverables for our company, including managing profit and loss, human resources, operational excellence, and the health and safety of our employees. Your work will include: · Client Retention and Relationship Management: Understands that client retention is embedded as a daily process through thoughtful action and attitude, utilizing the Tenacity Client for Life methodology Ensures a visible Account-level presence to foster and maintain effective working relationships with all clients Aligns key Dexterra contacts with like positions or titles within the client organization and creates a relationship matrix (Web of Influence) Proactively identifies client needs and ensures timely delivery of solutions to maintain satisfaction and exceed expectations · Performance Management and Operational Excellence: Communicates performance expectations clearly, monitors progress, and rewards achievements to ensure operational plans, goals, and budgets are met Implements best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Conducts regular site visits to assess service quality and address client feedback effectively Oversees resource allocation to ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient use of resources · Strategic Planning and Execution: Develops and implements strategic account plans to align with company goals and client expectations Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensures corrective actions are taken as needed to achieve targets Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align operations with overall business strategy and client objectives · Leadership and Talent Development: Acts as a talent scout, using networks to help identify, recruit, and vet proposed Dexterra team members Ensures succession plans are regularly reviewed and career growth is supported by personalized development plans Mentors and coaches team members to foster professional growth and enhance performance · Health, Safety, and Compliance: Promotes a culture of safety by ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements Conducts safety audits and collaborates with teams to mitigate risks and maintain a safe work environment · Sales and Business Development: Maintains a strategic selling mindset, utilizing the Miller Heiman sales methodology and process to drive growth and client retention Identifies opportunities for expanding service offerings and collaborates with the business development team to pursue new business opportunities · Financial Oversight: Manages profit and loss for the account, ensuring financial targets are met without compromising quality Conducts financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize budget management. Qualifications WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 3+ years of proven experience in facility management, janitorial services, or related industries Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) with the ability to communicate professionally in both languages Extensive background in managing large-scale facilities or service operations Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach Ability to inspire and lead diverse teams while fostering collaboration and accountability Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and make data-driven decisions Expertise in financial planning and identifying cost-saving opportunities Proficiency in strategic planning, relationship management, and operational execution Experience in designing and implementing long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman and client retention frameworks like Tenacity Client for Life Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate challenges and implement solutions Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels Commitment to maintaining workplace health and safety standards Additional Information WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
