Purpose of the Job Our Account Directors are responsible for the development and nurturing of our client accounts. The role is essential in strengthening relationships with the client and identifying growth opportunities for the business, as well as ensuring solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets. You will take full responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the account under your responsibility and manage the performance of the team, ensuring all work is completed in line with the SLA. You’ll be a capable leader who can focus on both the strategic vision of the account as well as the daily activities of delivering operational excellence. You'll need in-depth experience of working with clients and delivering ongoing solutions to resolve their challenges as well as the skills to develop client accounts, nurture relationships, convert opportunities and manage a team. We are seeking a strong Account Director with an in-depth experience of working with clients in both Istanbul and other parts of Türkiye to drive the Client Services team and deliver ongoing solutions to resolve Client challenges. You'll need extensive FMCG experience with a proven track record for developing Clients, nurturing relationships and converting opportunities as well a team management experience. The areas of spend under management with this FMCG / Food / Beverage client are point of sale materials (POSM) including temporary and permanent items as well as Signage, Visibility and Branded Merchandise. This role operates on a blended basis between the local HH Global office, client / vendor site(s) and home as necessary. Please submit your resume / application in English. Key Responsibilities Play a leading role in the delivery of client satisfaction, including client liaison, management of internal resource departments and management of external suppliers Delivering operational excellence With the Regional Account Director manage the on and off-site Account Teams that operate in the areas of the clients business under your direction ensuring compliance to company operating procedure Manage the personal development of your team members through, appraisals, one‐to‐one meetings, mentoring and training Take ownership of and resolve issues, quality concerns or corrective actions Developing effective growth strategies and managing the opportunities for these Clients With the Regional and Global Account Director, build client development plans for each year Achieve and excel growth targets Manage overall financial performance of the account, risk analysis and remedy Identifying risks to the account and putting in place strategies to manage these risks Contract review and renewal Develop strong relationships with senior key decision makers Regular MI reporting and production of account relationship plans Knowledge, Skills + Experience Exceptional and in-depth client service management experience, including time spent working on client site(s), developing and maintaining client relationships and across multiple vendors Has built client success delivering account planning, client service plans, KPIs, budgeting, forecasting and strategic account leadership People Management experience including performance management and team leadership A proven track record of operational management for client services departments, P+L / budget management and account financial reporting Success presenting account planning and strategy for retention, growth and added value, anticipating internal / external business issues and developing risk mitigation strategies Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), with clarity of expression and the ability to present to and influence various stakeholder groups at all levels of seniority A good level of capability in English (written and spoken) #LI-PL1 #LI-Hybrid We thank all applicants for their interest in a career with us.
