Description
Description Serves as key point-of-contact for agency client(s). Must have experience and background to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues at a strategic and tactical level. Ensures that all projects and campaigns are on time, within budget and achieve strategic brand objectives. Plans and assists with coordinating and implementing integrated marketing initiatives and multi-faceted programs and projects while overseeing the agency account management team. Also responsible for developing new marketing program opportunities for existing clients. Account Directors must have strong product knowledge and interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with customers. They must also anticipate customers’ needs and analyze trends for future opportunities. Responsibilities: Work closely with and maintain communication with C-Suite and executive level marketing teams to develop sound integrated initiatives that align and support marketing objectives Maintain a working-level understanding of assigned client’s industry, company culture, products/services and business goals Develop client support plans annually to anticipate growth, changes in relationship and resources needed to serve each client; inform agency annual budget planning Anticipate clients’ needs Keep up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape (products/services, positioning, marketshare, strategies, etc.) Recommend appropriate research as needed to gain relevant insights on consumer perceptions and behavior, industry trends, creative executions, etc. to ensure all plan developed by agency are informed and on strategy Attend to the needs of the client and continually seek ways to add value to the client-agency relationship Share responsibility for client retention by working with the leadership team to maintain client relationships, proactively identify client risks or opportunities, and manage internal teams to effectively respond to client needs Execute and supervise clients’ high-profile marketing, media and communications plans Propose ideas and advertising/marketing strategies with clients and assist in developing projects and campaigns Supply research and direction to creative teams to develop on-strategy projects and campaigns Lead account team to drive and oversee campaign tracking and performance Evaluate the input and ideas of creative and media teams relative to strategy and client preference Review and approve all creative development Review and approve all media recommendations Review and approve all project estimates and timelines Assist client in managing third party resources Assist client in contract negotiations as needed/requested Oversee and manage all client budgets Supervise and manage account supervisors, account managers and account coordinators Accountable for assigned account teams internal and external performance Accountable for agency overall performance on behalf of client Requirements A minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an agency account supervisor or other management-level account service position Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills Excellent understanding of advertising methods and techniques Strong client industry/product/service knowledge Ability to effectively manage agency resources Ability to drive internal and external improvements Outstanding negotiation skills Able to work as part of a team and autonomously to achieve results Able to think strategically and implement tactically Track record of client/agency successes Healthcare experience preferred What we offer Unlimited Vacation Hybrid work schedule Paid Company holidays Referral Program Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Aflac, GAP, FSA, Legal Plan, Life Insurance, 401k, and much more
