As Account Director, you will play a lead role in delivering our Performance with Integrity ambition across OMD’s clients. You will lead the creation of market leading ideas for our clients. You will be highly competent in digital and traditional media channels, along with the data and technology requirements to deliver market leading work. You will challenge and develop your direct reports to enable them to be the best they can be.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team in the use of the OMD planning process to create the media idea and implementation
  • Play a key role in strategic development workshops (client and Media Owner)
  • Ensure in-depth assessment of all communication options, using media research tools, delivers innovative insights
  • Collaborate with and share information with all stakeholders, including external agency partners
  • Ensure the reporting of competitive, consumer and market data delivers innovative and actionable insights to form the basis of future recommendations
  • Present detailed communications plans to clients (strategy, implementation planning, execution, sponsorship consideration (corporate, broadcast & data partnerships) and budget management
  • Monitor and report on agency contract KPIs
  • Understand and drive the commercial arrangements with all your clients
  • Promote additional OMD’s services to clients when appropriate - understand capability, be able to pressure test relevance and know how to convert an opportunity
  • Ensure account queries are rare and that any are resolved quickly and with supporting documentation
  • Effective management and leadership of any direct reports
  • Deliver best in class client service that builds business
