KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS



    • 8+ years of experience in public relations or corporate communications, with a strong focus on technology clients, products, or sectors.

    • Proven track record in media relations, especially within the tech and innovation ecosystem.
    • Experience working in-house, on secondment, or in close partnership with client teams is an advantage.
    • Strong understanding of the Middle East media landscape and cultural context.
    • Excellent writing, presentation, and client servicing skills.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
    Responsibilities

    THE ROLE (SECONDMENT ROLE)

    We are seeking a dynamic Account Director with a strong background in Technology communications to join our team on a full-time secondment with a key client. This role requires a seasoned professional who can seamlessly integrate into the client’s in-house team, deliver strategic communications counsel, and lead high-impact campaigns that shape perception, drive engagement, and support business goals.

    KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



      • Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders on all aspects of tech communications, media relations, and reputation management.

      • Develop and execute integrated communications strategies across earned, owned, and shared media channels.
      • Lead day-to-day client-side delivery, ensuring timely execution of campaigns, content development, media outreach, and reporting.
      • Provide senior counsel during issues management and crisis response, working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
      • Support corporate narrative development related to technology innovation, digital transformation, and the client’s sector leadership.
      • Manage agency relationships (if any), budgets, and performance metrics.
      • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and tech policy developments to inform proactive storytelling opportunities.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with key tech media, influencers, and industry thought leaders in the region.
      • Coach and mentor junior team members (internal or client-side) as needed.
